I am in the Canadian Rockies, specifically in Banff National Park. In this article is the second almost live video from the trip to Canada.
First, however, I must say that the ending of Vancouver was very sad. I unexpectedly ran into what are called zombies, the new fentalyn junkies.
Some streets, downtown, are full of these people who stand there all day, looking at the ground, crumpled up. I knew it was a very common phenomenon in the U.S., but it is in Canada as well.
I had read about them, but in person they really make an impression, so surrendered, empty and their heads hanging down.
I started an 18-day journey, solo and using public transportation.

The featured photo is of Lake Louise, far too crowded for my taste. I was lucky on a day with circling clouds to catch the moment with the right light just I was up in the overlook above.
