Your legs are as good as noodles is one of the ineffective approaches the protagonist of my novel used to hook up with girls as a teenager. Witty he always was, but also inconclusive, despite the fact that he was also a lifeguard.

Another approach was: when I see you, out of excitement, my shoelaces untie. And especially the translation into English, Spanish, Latin, Romagnolo dialect and even dog language of you are the light of my eyes, which more or less went woof, woof, woof.

The story is totally fictional and every character mentioned is fictional; any similarities to real people and facts are coincidental.

This is a fiction novel, completed in March 2025, the first part of the synthesis of 3 separate works written between 2005 and 2012. I have put a lot of work into them over the years, but they certainly have many flaws and errors not having gone through professional proofreading. In fact, since they were not accepted by the main publishing houses, I decided to publish them independently, and not to accept other proposals. The idea is that at least they will remain, for better or worse, authentic and unconventional.

Part of the story is not intended for children under the age of 14. The sequel to this first work, to be released soon, is titled That Ragu Was a Bluff.

This novel is a fictional story about love, dating, sex, and how technology has changed us. While in my blog I tell true anecdotes that have happened to me in my many travels. For my readers from around the world, unfortunately at the moment the novel is only in Italian.

How a clumsy lifeguard becomes a technological Casanova

With the advent of technology, along with personal growth, Nicola Viboliucci becomes a technological Casanova. The situations and people he encounters amaze more and more in a crescendo that leads him to date a woman with a double life.

The sentimental evolution of a man born in the 1970s is recounted, and also how the way of getting to know people changes over time; from phone calls in coin-operated booths and paper letters, to blind dates and dating apps. The advent and transformation of new technologies also change relationships themselves. Although it is a novel, in a sense it is also an essay on the online dating that at some point becomes the most common.

The story, set in Romagna, is narrated in the first person by Nicola. The protagonist goes from being an awkward and insecure teenager who stumbles into platonic affairs; he becomes a Latin lover with various and bizarre acquaintances and experiences. Every now and then he convinces himself that he will also find what he has always longed for, namely great love.

Between funny and spicy anecdotes; big feelings and twists, the protagonist’s evolution intersects with detective story moments, especially hanging out with the last incredible female protagonist.
