In this article is the radio video interview that was given to me by Story time. It is a web radio broadcast on Radio Channel Italy.
They had contacted me a few days earlier giving me an appointment at their studios. I had a chance to talk about both the blog and my first novel YOUR LEGS ARE AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE TAGLIATELLE.
But also to hint at the second to be released soon: THAT RAGU’ WAS A BLUFF.

What I didn’t say about the blog in the video interview
I came out moderately satisfied, because I would have liked to mention more and there would have been time. Since the algorithm wants more words in the articles anyway, I take the opportunity to write what is not in the interview but what I would have liked to talk about.
In bold the questions
Your blog was born almost a year ago. What prompted you to open it and tell anecdotes, emotions and feelings from your travels ?
I would have liked to emphasize more that I also want to tell about my disasters and mistakes, which I still make despite the fact that I can be considered an experienced traveler.
And I don’t want to teach anybody anything.
Backpacking alone requires courage and predisposition. What is the strongest or most significant episode you have experienced around the world?
I also wanted to mention the very funny double chase of stray dogs in Thailand, which I discuss here
In your stories, what do you want to bring out about your travels?
About the non-positive aspects I wanted to remark that in some countries we Westerners are just wallets with legs, and it is also interesting to see the bad things. For example from my trip to Canada I can never forget the fentalyn junkies. So around the world it is not all peaches and cream.

What I didn’t say about the novels in the radio interview.
Your first novel, Your Legs are as Beautiful as Noodles, has been out for a month: how did this title come about and what is it about?
I would have liked to make it clear that of the many encounters there are some that are fun, weird, and even erotic.
The second book, That Ragu Was a Bluff, is a sequel to the first one: why did you feel the need to give continuity to the story?
I wish I had at least mentioned that the story, even in the first novel, at some point takes an enigmatic turn, almost a detective story.
Looking to the future: do you prefer to continue telling your life story as a traveler or do you see yourself as more and more of a story writer?
I did not mention either my you tube channel or the podcast weirdness on the road.
Background
My opening joke made the host laugh so much, because that piece was the only one we redid, since he had gotten the accent of my last name just wrong. Otherwise it was a good first. I don’t know if they did many recordings that fast.
Finally here is the page where I tell about my first novel: Your legs are as good as noodles
