In this article are videos taken in a hot air balloon over Cappadocia. It is the second of Cappadocia arranged at home, from the series of those shot on my solo trip to Turkey in 2025.

Every day at dawn (weather permitting), hundreds of people leave from Goreme, to have this experience. And there are so many hot air balloons as can be seen from the following video.

I know many people who would never have such an experience. I am glad I did it however I don’t think I would repeat it. In this video you can see how close we were to the so-called Fairy Chimneys.

On the other hand, while it is a very touristy experience, I cannot deny that it is not very exciting. In the last video, we were suspended a few meters to get a good view of the valley around us and the other hot air balloons from below.
