Casual encounters are the best, but not only bad organized ones either. Especially in the past I happened to use couchsurfing<\/a>. Certainly the Covid period hurt it a lot. After that it doesn’t seem to have recovered, I hope it goes back to being the fantastic system for meeting locals that it was. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Casual encounters, often, sometimes crucial<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Casual encounters sometimes last the time of a chat, sometimes a lifetime. They can arise on a train or during a tour, but also in restaurants. Once, when I frequented hostels, even there, now in hotels it is difficult. So this is one of the reasons why I maintain that trips that go solo are the ones that can give the most excitement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
