These videos from Tanzania are dated 2023 and in this article is the first part of the selection. They are not from Focus documentary since my means are meager, but I think they are interesting and cute. In particular, I always look for something special and maybe funny.
In the first two lionesses looking for shade among the tourists’ off-road vehicles. These are really so used to humans, too much so.
In the second, a hippopotamus is eating; it looks like a lawnmower. Not everyone knows this, but he is the most dangerous animal to humans, the one that causes the most accidents each year and fatalities.
In the third an overview of the savannah, in particular we are with the off-roaders in the crater of Ngorongoro, an extinct volcano full of life. Herds that seem endless head north for migration, toward water and the Serengeti .
In the fourth video a lion is eating what is left of a large buffalo. To me it is amazing how calm he shows, evidently he is used to such close presence of tourists.
Finally, a songbird. It was perched in a sapling of one of the tented camps where we slept while crossing the savannah, who knows what it had to say.
