This is a selection of videos from Laos and Cambodia. In particular there are videos that I had not posted while traveling from Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, and links to videos posted while I was there, mostly from Laos.

The first is 30 classic seconds of vibrant nightlife in a large Asian city. Particularly in Phnom Penh’s riverfront, with loaded mopeds and tuc tucs and street food stalls.

These 3 singers/dancers were in the Phnom Penh night market, even if you can’t tell what they are saying, I find them mesmerizing.

However, in my opinion the main reason to visit the Cambodian capital is the terrible genocide museum. Plus there is also the prison camp outside the city where the following video is filmed. While the former has cells and was carved out of a school, in this one only executions actually took place.

In conclusion is the video made during the short trip to the Mekong River, the scene of many stories and films set during the Vietnam War. I particularly recommend this in-depth link.
